Mission & Outreach

 Union Congregational United Church of Christ partners with and supports a wide variety of community service agencies.  Through the United Church of Christ we partner with mission and outreach projects throughout the United States and around the world.

One Great Hour of Sharing, as part of Our Church's Wider Mission (OCWM) , is the special mission offering of the United Church of Christ that carries God's message of love and hope to people in more than eighty countries.

The UCC works with international partners to provide sources of clean water    and food, education and health care, small business micro-credit, emergency relief,             and advocacy and resettlement for refugees and displaced persons. OGHS also                                               supports domestic and international ministries for disaster                                           preparedness and response.

Pictured below is the presentation of a generous gift to the Caridad Center, which provides free medical and dental care to a large population of agricultural workers, laborers and the working poor of Palm Beach County through the dedicated work of more than 500 licensed professional and community volunteers.   THE SOUP KITCHEN

On Communion Sundays, the first Sunday of every month, we bring food items to support this important program.  Donations are placed at the front of the church during the service.  The Soup Kitchen is placing a special emphasis on babies and young children this fall, so baby food and diapers are especially needed.  Look for an updated list of items to donate at the church.  For further information how you can support the Soup Kitchen through Union Congregational Church, contact the church office..
