Staff

Brad S. Lutz is our pastor and teacher. He was called to Union Church in 2007. Brad was ordained in the United Church of Christ in 1974 and has served congregations in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois and Florida. In addition he spent nearly 8 years in both AIDS ministry and Hospice chaplaincy. Teaching, preaching and leading worship are strong attributes he brings to enrich our congregational life. Brad is specially trained in the art of spiritual direction and nurtures his spiritual life through a variety of practices, including silence and contemplative prayer. Brad is an oblate of Holy Wisdom Monastery and the Benedictine Women of Madison (Wisconsin). Brad and his partner live in Fort Lauderdale.

Phyllis Parthemer serves as Associate Pastor.   In addition to sharing in general pastoral duties, her primary emphasis is on children's & youth ministry and Christian Education.  Phyllis will be ordained at a special service of the church in November 2008.

Donna M. Westbrook is our gracious and efficient Office Manager.  Our church office is staffed Monday through Friday, 2:00PM -  6:00PM.


 

Ilsa Dickinson, choral director (standing) and                      Julia Smith, painist and bell choir director (seated) are our talented and enthusiastic Ministers of Music

 

 

 

Zebedee Graham is our faithful and friendly sexton. A native of Jamaica, Zebedee welcomes everyone with a broad smile and kind word. He works diligently to keep our space inviting and fresh.
